要他人与基督一同掌权

在《路加福音》9:49–50 中,我们看到一段相当耐人寻味的记载。约翰看见有一个人奉基督的名赶鬼,就去阻止他,并告诉主这样做的原因是那个人“没有跟从我们”。这里的“跟从”是一个做门徒用语,意思是那个人并不属于门徒的核心圈子。 这段对话紧接着门徒之间关于“谁最大”的争论(路9:46)。主告诉门徒,若想成为大,就必须奉基督的名接纳那些看似微不足道的人,就像祂所举例的那个孩子一样。 路加希望我们把这两件事联系起来理解。在耶稣告诉门徒:凡是奉祂的名接纳这些微不足道之人的,在祂的国里就是大的之后,第 49 节一开始就是:“约翰说…”约翰是在某种程度上回应耶稣刚刚的教导。 那个赶鬼的人正是这样一个“微不足道的人”。我们甚至不知道他的名字,但他是在“奉基督的名”服事(49 节)。而门徒被吩咐要“为基督的名”接纳像他这样的人(48 节)。 约翰和其他门徒正在争论他们当中谁在天国里最大。而这个人,正是他们若想成为大,就应当接纳的那种信徒。相反,他们却禁止他继续所做的事——禁止他服事主,这恰恰与“为基督的名接纳他”完全相反。 然而,基督却接纳一切为祂做工的信徒,不论他们看起来多么微不足道。当耶稣用孩子作比喻时,祂把孩子拉过来,“叫他站在自己旁边”(47 节),表示孩子与主亲近。后来耶稣提到这个赶鬼的人时,说他是“站在我们这边的”(50 节)。这同样是在表达:这个人是在主的身边,做着主的工作。 这件关于那位无名之人的事件,所揭示的一个重要教训是:作为信徒,我们很容易把注意力放在自己身上。门徒们关心的是他们当中谁会成为最大的那一位。若约翰明白主关于服事那些微不足道之人的教导,那么他提起这位无名之人,很可能是在寻求澄清——主当然不可能是要约翰和其他门徒去接纳、去服事一个并不属于他们团体的人吧。 这个人是在跟随主的,他是一个门徒,是站在主身边的人。门徒们不但不该拦阻他,反而应当鼓励他。 而这里有一个我们很容易忽略的教训:门徒们渴望在天国里为大,那么他们也应当盼望这位无名之人同样为大。 作为明白奖赏重要性的信徒,我们有时会错过这一关键点。渴望在基督的国度里为大,这是一个敬虔的愿望;但我们的祷告也应当是,愿我们身边的信徒同样与基督一同作王。 就像当年的门徒一样,我们可能过于关注自己个人的属灵进展,而忽视了周围人的属灵光景,甚至在无意中伤害了别人的属灵成长。他们本不该禁止那人服事主,而应当接纳他,正如基督接纳了那个孩子,也接纳了这位无名之人。 让我们为生命中的信徒祷告,求神使他们在神的国里为大;也让我们尽己所能,使这一切成为现实。当主再来时,祂必赏赐这样的心态。
