January 3, 2024 by Kathryn Wright in

Gaslighting the Grace of God

January 1, 2024 by Kathryn Wright in Grace in Focus Articles
By Kathryn Wright Introduction According to the American Psychological Association, to gaslight someone means: “To manipulate another person into doubting their own perceptions, experiences, or understanding of events.” This form of psychological manipulation is a common tactic of abusers who make their victims feel unstable or irrational by claiming that their legitimate concerns are minor

December 29, 2023 by Kathryn Wright in

La stereotipizzazione dei Farisei

December 29, 2023 by Kathryn Wright in Grazia Gratuita - Fariseo, Legalismo, Luca 14:1-14, Luca 7
Vengono descritti come sepolcri imbiancati, serpenti e avidi.

December 28, 2023 by Kathryn Wright in Su Gracia Gratuita - Fariseos, Legalismo, Lucas 14:1-14, Lucas 7

December 28, 2023 by Kathryn Wright in Ang Tinig ng Biyaya

Compromise or Compromising?

December 20, 2023 by Kathryn Wright in Blog - Deconstruction, Pergamos, postmodernism, Rev 2:12-17
A few months ago, I wrote a blog about why millennials are leaving the Church. You can check it out here. In that blog, I argued that while there are many reasons that younger people are leaving the Church, a common one is bad theology. I would like to offer another reason that I think

The Sufferer’s Faithful Creator

December 15, 2023 by Kathryn Wright in Blog - 1 Pet 4:19, 2 Pet 3:10-13, new heavens and earth, Suffering
In Isa 9:6, the prophet provides a list of titles for the Lord, including Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. However, this impressive list is just a drop in the bucket. In the Scriptures, He is also called the Word, the Alpha and the Omega, the King of Kings, the Chief

What’s in a Name?

December 5, 2023 by Kathryn Wright in Blog - Abraham, Gen 15:5, Genesis 32, Jacob, new name, Paul/Saul
In a recent podcast, I heard a preacher say that Saul of Tarsus’ name was changed to Paul after his conversion. He went on to describe the miracle of transformation that occurred in Paul’s life, saying that because of this transformation, the apostle received a new name from the Lord. The preacher went on to
