Jonah – The Reluctant Prophet – Intro Part 1

Welcome to Grace in Focus Radio. David Renfro joins Bob Wilkin on the show today. The guys are launching a new series of episodes, discussing the book of Jonah. First, we will hear about the unique qualities of the book of Jonah, and its special place in the minor prophets. In addition, the guys will unpack certain events in the history of the Israelites, giving special attention to the Assyrian captivity in 722 B.C. and the Babylonian captivity starting in 605 B.C. Finally, they will discuss the state of Nineveh in terms of location, population, and religion at the time of Jonah. We hope you can join us as we study this small but significant book.
