Grieving, Indwelling, Jn 16:8-11, Quenching, spirit
Welcome to Grace in Focus radio. Today, Bob and Shawn will be answering a question about the Holy Spirit. We will hear the guys address the role of the Spirit as it relates to unbelievers (John 16: 8-11). In addition, the guys will address the role of the Spirit in the life of a believer who have fallen away. The guys will address the difference between "quenching" the spirit in 1 Thess 5:19, and "grieving" the spirit in Eph 4:30. These, and many more issues will be unpacked on the show. We hope you enjoy the discussion.

Chapter 2: Doesn’t John’s Gospel Assume That Repentance is Necessary for Eternal Salvation?
Faith, Free Grace, Jn 16:8-11, Jn 3:36, Obedience, Repentance, Wayne Grudem
On this episode of Grace in Focus radio, Bob and Shawn are discussing Wayne Grudem's book "Free Grace Theology: Five Ways It Diminishes the Gospel." This is part of an on-going series where the guys will unpack each chapter. Today, we will hear them go into further detail regarding the gospel of John. It was noted in the previous episode, that the word "repentance" never occurs in the gospel of John. Why is this important? Does John's Gospel assume repentance? These, and many more issues will be addressed on the show.
