This July 19-23, GES will be holding a regional conference in beautiful Kamiah, Idaho. The topic is “Trends vs Text.” In an age when cultural assumptions, popular terminology, and ministry movements often influence doctrine, believers must continually return to the text of Scripture. Together, we will examine some of today’s most debated theological issues and test them against the Word of God.
Hosted by Grace Bible Church in Kamiah, Idaho, this conference combines serious Bible study, meaningful fellowship, family activities, and opportunities to enjoy the beauty of northern Idaho.

Throughout the week, we’ll examine important theological questions, including:
- Can you know you have eternal life?
- Can a believer lose eternal life?
- Does God choose people for hell?
- What is the saving message?
- What is the role of repentance?
- Oneness Pentecostalism
- Is the Kingdom here now?
- Israel, the Jewish people, and the rise of hostility
- The canon and authority of Scripture

There will be many activities and opportunities for fellowship between sessions. Many of these activities will involve outdoor recreation. Here is a list and the costs:

Tubing the River
Free church-hosted activity.
Wednesday
Choose Your Own Adventure
Options include:
- Hiking and huckleberry picking, then turning to the church to make fresh huckleberry pie
- Lewis and Clark tour
- Run and Gun course
Thursday
Optional Hells Canyon Jet Boat Tour
Adults: $247
Children (12 and under): $127
Optional shuttle: $27 per person

If you plan to participate in the Thursday boat tour, you must reserve your seat directly with the tour company as soon as possible.
Hells Canyon tours frequently fill up, and seating is limited.

Families are encouraged to attend. VBS will be provided during all the main conference sessions, allowing parents to fully participate while children enjoy age-appropriate activities and Bible teaching.
As far as lodging is concerned, the church will provide free camping on church property. For more information, see the registration page on the website. There are also RV parks in Kamiah and two hotels.
Whether you are wrestling with questions about assurance, repentance, election, the Kingdom, Israel, or other contemporary theological movements, this conference is designed to help you evaluate those questions through careful study of Scripture.
