Does GES Have Follow-Up Materials for Bible Studies and Discipleship Groups?

A friend who does college ministry on campus for several colleges in his area asked me if we have any discipleship materials: “Do you have any Free Grace follow-up material on things like assurance of salvation, quiet times, walking in the Spirit, the Great Commission, and the need for fellowship. I’d prefer FG material.”

We actually have eight different books that have study guides for each chapter. One of the books (Six Secrets of the Christian Life) has the study questions at the end of each chapter. The other seven have the questions for each chapter at the end of the book.

These make great Bible study/follow-up materials for college students or anyone. Those in the discipleship group/Bible study/Sunday school class read one chapter and answer the chapter questions each week. Then when the group meets, they discuss the questions (as well as anything in the chapter that the leader wishes to emphasize).

Here are the eight books we have with study guides:

Bob Wilkin

Confident in Christ (saving faith, assurance, eternal security, perseverance)

The Ten Most Misunderstood Words in the Bible (save, lost, heaven, hell, etc.)

The Road to Reward (eternal rewards)

Secure and Sure (assurance)

Turn and Live (repentance)

Zane Hodges

Six Secrets of the Christian Life (sanctification)

Second Peter (commentary)

What Is the Outer Darkness? (interpretation, eternal Rewards, eternal security)

We hope to produce short study booklets with questions on major issues facing new and growing believers. The difference between the books with questions we already have and the booklets with questions we plan to produce is that the latter will be much shorter and will require a lot less reading. What we already offer is better, but it depends on people being motivated enough to read 5 to 10 pages a week (or 10 to 20 pages a week in The Ten Most Misunderstood Words). If each lesson only had 2 to 3 pages to be read, then more people would probably participate since less time reading is required.
