Why Good Works Are Important

April 1, 2001 by Bob Wilkin in Grace in Focus Articles
In a world filled with conflicting interpretations of what one must do to be saved, it is my conviction, and that of GES, that good works are not necessary for a person to be justified before God. Revelation 3:20– A Call to Fellowship

January 1, 2001 by Bob Wilkin in Grace in Focus Articles
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). Revelation 3:20 has been used by many as an evangelistic verse. Indeed for years I used it as such in my personal

All Have Sinned and Fall Short of the Glory of God – Romans 3:23

November 1, 2000 by Bob Wilkin in Grace in Focus Articles
The Romans Road is a popular evangelistic method which walks through a number of verses in Paul’s Epistle to the Romans. Shepherds: Guard Your Flocks

July 1, 2000 by Bob Wilkin in Grace in Focus Articles
Our recent annual conference dealt with grace issues and the local church. In this article I address an issue which was touched on by various conference messages (though no message directly approached this subject). In Acts 20 Paul met with the elders from the church at Ephesus. He urged them to “take heed to yourselves
