Rom 4:20
June 2, 2023
What if Someone Believes in Jesus Without Believing His Promise of Everlasting Life?
1 Cor 15:3-11, Everlasting Life, Gospel, John 3:16, promise, Rom 10:17, Rom 4:20, Secure
Welcome to Grace in Focus radio. Today, Bob Wilkin and Steve Elkins are answering a question from a listener who wonders: “What if a person believes that Jesus’ death and resurrection covers their sins, but does not source their belief in Jesus’ promise that they would never perish but have everlasting life as a result of believing Him for this?” Justification is by faith alone apart from works, based on the Word of God. Faith needs to be in Jesus for what He promised. Please listen to this episode for some clarity on this issue! ***SPECIAL OFFER: Zane Hodges’ book, The Gospel Under Siege–A Study About Faith and Works in Tension is being offered through the month of June, 2023 at half-price on faithalone.org for those who use the code word, “Siege.”***
