Why is Baptism in Acts 2:38 to Receive the Holy Spirit? Also: What is the Difference Between Position Forgiveness and Fellowship Forgiveness?

June 30, 2021     Acts 10:43, Acts 2:36-38, Water Baptism

In our previous episode, we heard Bob and Shawn address the issue of multiple baptisms. Today on Grace in Focus radio, we are continuing the discussion on baptism by looking at Acts 2:28. What is the context of Acts 2:28? How do we reconcile the fact that salvation is by faith but according to this verse receiving the Holy Spirit is by baptism? The guys will address these issues. In addition, we will hear Shawn unpack the different kinds of forgiveness we see in the scriptures. Finally, Bob will provide a helpful tip for remembering the different benefits the Holy Spirit gives to church age believers, by using the acronym RIBS. We hope you join us as we seek to keep grace in focus.
