Is It Wrong to Trust in What Jesus Did? Can People Die & Go to Hell or Heaven & Then Come Back to Life? Can We Learn About Theology From Our Experience?
Final Salvation, Trust
Today, Bob and Shawn are on the fourth episode in our series of Q/A's. Thank you to all who contributed questions for this series. Is having assurance wrong? For some groups, assurance is a heresy and is rejected completely! In today's discussion the guys will be dealing with this misconception, and the terms associated with it like "final salvation." They will also be diving into the topic of heaven, and how to address those who claim to have visited heaven/hell in near-death experiences.  Bob and Shawn will also address the role of experiences in our understanding of doctrine and spiritual growth.

Doubt, Faith, Feelings, Trust
In today's episode, Bob and Shawn continue in their series of Q/A's from listeners like you. The guys are answering questions related to the terms faith, believing, and trust as well as addressing some of the pitfalls for these terms. Bob will be unpacking the common use of a three-fold definition of  saving faith, usually expressed by the three terms "Understanding" "Assent" and "Trust." They will also be answering the question about the role of our feelings when "trusting" in Jesus, and how that relates to Romans 8:16. Finally, the guys will address the issue of a believer who no longer wants to believe. Can a believer give eternal life back? You don't want to miss out on this important word study.
