The Meaning and Application of Deuteronomy 29:29

Welcome to Grace in Focus radio. Today, continuing in Deuteronomy, Bob Wilkin and Ken Yates look at a passage that often gets misused, Deuteronomy 29:29. There are often claims of “secret knowledge” in Christianity today. We should be very careful about how we regard others who may say, “God speaks to me…”; “What is God saying to you?”; “Special Knowledge” etc., having implications such as, “This is something God has told me, but you don’t know about it…I have an inside track with God.” This can be a form of superiority, mysticism or even sorcery, actually. Everything that Israel needed and everything that we need to be blessed, satisfied and rightly related to God, has been revealed in God’s Word. We have it already! We need not look elsewhere or be on a quest for some other special secret! We hope you join Bob Wilkin and Ken Yates as they have this timely conversation about the meaning of this important verse.
